The following engagements are available to any school or ELCC in Falkirk Council. Simply take a look at what is on offer and fill in the form to request support, a member of the digital learning team will then get in touch to arrange the engagement. In order to ensure equity and parity across all ELC, primary and secondary establishments at the moment schools are limited to one request per term – please discuss your intention to submit a request with the person in your school who has responsibility for digital learning. 

Digital Schools Award Preparation

This engagement is for people who are leading on achieving Digital Schools Award status for their school or establishment. This is chance to discuss your evidence materials and preparations for Digital Schools Award application or validation visit. In order to participate in this session you must have completed the Digital Schools Award self evaluation in advance. 

Curriculum Planning

This engagement is for class teachers (as individuals, stage partners or departments) who want to embed digital learning into their curriculum. You will have the opportunity to work alongside a member of the digital learning team to look more closely at your unit/topic plans and identify opportunities for digital learning integration. Existing learning materials are required for this engagement. 

Leadership Compass

This engagement is for leadership teams or staff teams who have a remit for digital learning within their setting. This is best as a team task and gives the opportunity to meet and reflect on where you are on your journey and what your next steps might be as an establishment. It is important that attendees have the agency to make strategic decisions and encourage change in their establishment.

Team Teaching: Accessibility

This engagements allows a classroom teacher to work with a member of the digital learning team to deliver a session to pupils exploring the accessibility features on iPad. These materials can then be used to cascade to other areas of the school. Participants will be provided with the base materials to deliver their sections of the lesson, there will be some preparation required.
