My Adventure Books

Each child has an “Adventure Book” which your child and their adults complete to document and evaluate their learning experiences and development.

These are stored at child level and children are actively encouraged to access these throughout the day, as well as add in their own mark making, designs, etc.

Families are normally encouraged to read, comment and add to these as often as they would like. These are set up to record your child’s learning both in our centre and at home.

We use a “Focus Child” Approach. Your child’s key-worker will then summarise their learning and arrange for you to come into ELC and chat over your child’s progress and celebrate who they are as a wee person.

Your child’s “Adventure Book” will follow them throughout their journey in Camelon, and will be sent home for you to treasure when they leave us.
