Reflective Feedback
Camelon ELC recognises that working in partnership with parents/carers is of major value and importance to the whole ELC community, enabling the setting to provide a happy, caring and stable environment for children and their families. We aim to develop excellent professional, nurturing and supportive relationships with families to ensure children have the very best experience at Camelon.
We are constantly evaluating our practice and striving to improve the service we provide. We value reflective feedback from families and hope you will be satisfied with the level of learning and care we provide. If you find you develop a concern , please speak to your child’s keyworker or the Senior Early Years Officer in your child’s room, in the first instance. Gemma Paterson (Head of Centre) and Jacqui Johnson ( Principal Early Years Officer) would be your secondary point of contact.
Falkirk Council has a Complaints Procedure accessible to parents/carers who use educational establishments. T explain more about this, we have leaflets available or you can access information on Falkirk Council’s website at- www.falkirk.gov.uk. You can obtain further information from any Falkirk Council establishment.
We are inspected regularly by the Care Inspectorate; which is an independent service. During the inspection process the Care Inspector will be available to speak to families. This will give you an opportunity to comment on the service we provide. Inspection visits from the Care Inspectorate are all unannounced. A copy of the Inspection report is available to parents/carers at all times. This is available on our own website, the Care Inspectorate website and within the setting.
You may also contact the Care Inspectorate at any time throughout the year.
