Galapagos comes from its owner the tortoise and it also means the Latin word  “chelonoidis nigra” which translated means the Giant Galapagos Tortoise.

The Mens length is 6ft and 4-5ft wide while the Womens length is half of the mens making it 3ft and 2-3 wide.

They have high convex shells and have tough scales over their legs.Their feet are not webbed together unlike normal turtles/tortoise.

Their lifespan can go up to: 100-111 years old .

Their diet is: Grass,leaves and cacti.
