Pupil Improvement team

Our Pupil Improvement team is made up of the Pupil Council, House Captains and the Head of School, who meet twice a term.

This year our Pupil Council and House Captains will be busy supporting the SQIP, School Improvement Priorities and their own agenda.

Houses

We have 3 houses:

Pupil committees

Currently our teachers help our pupils lead 3 committees.

Mrs Fraser Rights Respecting Schools Committee
Mrs MacInnes Eco Committee
Mrs MacAulay Health and Wellbeing Committee

Each committee meet regularly and organise various events during the year including a whole school assembly.

Rights Respecting Schools Committee

The UNICEF Rights Respecting Schools Award recognises a school’s achievement in putting the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child into practice within the school and beyond.

Mrs Fraser and the RRS committee are working towards their Silver Award.

Eco Committee

The Green Flag Award is a visible indication of a school’s commitment to Learning for Sustainability and an internationally recognised accreditation for excellence in sustainable education.

We were very proud to receive our 5th Green Flag Award in 2021.

Health and Wellbeing Committee

Mrs MacAulay helps lead the Health and Wellbeing Committee.

We were very proud to have been awarded the Gold School Sport Award by Sport Scotland in 2017.

We are working on an action plan for re-accreditation.
