Williamwood Strike Gold!
We are so pleased to announce that we have two winners from the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum’s annual drawing competition. This is a very prestigious competition which was established in 1904; now in its 110th year. In May this year, a group of pupils were invited to attend the museum and to create a masterpiece of their own, based on work from the collection. Congratulations to Anna (S2) who was awarded a commended certificate. Further congratulations to Jack (S2) who won a gold award and was invited along to receive this at the official award ceremony in the Kelvingrove Art and Museum. We were also overjoyed when it was announced that Jack had won the Robert Logan Award, an additional surprise cash award out of over 1000 entries.
We are so proud of both of these pupils for their incredible achievements.
