ABRSM results

Congratulations to the following pupils on their success in the winter diet of Associated Board examinations.

S1 pupils:  Sorcha Cook and Greta Lawson passed Grade 3 violin, Maya Hughes Grade 3 oboe with distinction, Anjali Pavri Grade 5 oboe with distinction

S3 pupil:  Zara Steven Grade 5 flute with merit

S4 pupil:  Libby Carmon Grade 5 cello with merit

We are delighted that again this year two of our pupils have secured places in the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain.  Ben Dickinson (S3) on french horn and Anna Ghiro (S5) on bassoon.

Williamwood Music Festival 2019

Congratulations to the successful candidates who auditioned for this year’s Williamwood Music Festival. We have an exciting list of Williamwood High School musicians who will be performing at the event, which is on Monday November 4 at 7pm in the Conference Suite. We are extremely pleased to announce that the Festival is being adjudicated by established composers and musicians; John Cavanagh and Gayle Brogan.

Tickets are free, although donations will be gratefully received at the door. Tickets are available now from the Performing Arts department.
