A massive congratulations to Freya who won gold in the Slow Airs competition at the All Britain Fleadh. So she is the 12-15 national champion! Her band and Grupa Cheoil also won gold too.

Huge congratulations to past pupil Anna who has been appointed principal bassoon in the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain this session.

We are delighted that again this year two of our pupils have secured places in the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain.  Ben (S5) on french horn and Olivia (S5) on oboe.

Merry Christmas to everyone from staff and pupils of Williamwood High School. The Performing Arts department wanted to spread some Christmas cheer since we are missing out on the usual festivities this year. S6 pupil John Kennedy has recently had one of his original compositions featured on YouTube by Electro Records. John composes electronic music using MIDI instruments, FL Studio and Ableton software. John’s composition, Step Down, has almost 600 views and over 100 comments on YouTube.
