The Higher Recital Evening is taking place on Thurs 28th Feb at 7pm in the Music department.

The department are now receiving evidence for this term for the Performing Arts Achievement Ties.  The deadline for this is Monday 4th March.

Criteria

The dates have been set for the Intermediate and Higher practical examinations in music.  They are going to start on Monday 25th February.

Congratulations to the following pupils who have all got places in NYOS. 

In the NYOS Junior Orchestra are:  Campbell Lang S1 ( Bassoon), Chris Vettraino S1 (Oboe), Tom Potter S1 (Percussion),  Eve Burgoyne S2 (Clarinet), Gregor McInnes S2 (French Horn), Callum Robson S2 (Percussion) and Alec Ross S2 (French Horn). 

In the NYOS Senior Orchestra are Lucy Gibson S2 and Andrew Vettraino S3 both on bassoon. 

In  The National Youth Orchestra of Scotland are Luke Maher S5 and Stuart Vettraino S5 both on French Horn.

Congratulations to Mark Hendry who was successful in his audition to become the bass player for the Strathclyde Youth Jazz Orchestra!
