Business Management Champions

Congratulations to S5 pupils Emma, Heather and Lara who finished in second place of the ‘Design a Sub’ competition!  Over 80 schools from across Scotland entered the competition and yesterday the team were invited to the final which was held at the Scottish Events Campus.  The girls pitched their concept, The Champion Sub, to a panel of judges who commended them on their marketing plan and presentation.  The team were presented with a £750 amazon voucher – well done !

Higher Business Management Subway Challenge

Higher business management pupils have been challenged to design and market a brand new Subway sandwich or flatbread with the prospect of seeing their Sub design go on sale in over 100 Subway stores throughout the region.  Yesterday, as part of the challenge, pupils ordered their proposed ‘Subs’ in order to undertake a taste test and photo shoot.

Dragons’ Den

Congratulations to our S3 Business Management team who finished third place at the Silverburn Dragons’ Den competition.  The team was Kirsten, Faiza, Olivia, Holly and Rae (all S3).  They presented their company ‘Mugish’ along with their products to the Dragons, in front of an audience of around 50 people. The team gave a confident and engaging presentation which thoroughly impressed the judges. Well done!

S6 Young Enterprise

yesCongratulations to the S6 Young Enterprise Group, ‘Joy Jars’,  who participated in the Christmas Trade Fair at Soar at intu Braehead.  They were able to showcase their products and also gave them the opportunity to try out their selling skills.  Well done to Joshua Dube who won the ‘Banter Award’ for demonstrating his best bantering techniques.

BICT Competition
