Glasgow Girls

glasgow-girls

S2 Social Subjects pupils had a great day out at the MacRoberts Art Centre in Stirling to see the Glasgow Girls. The play tells of the story of six teenagers who successfully campaigned for their asylum seeker classmates not to be deported back to war torn countries. The production which was put on free of charge for school pupils will no doubt help modern studies pupils make sense of the current refugee crisis when studying the Freedom course. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X6jl2f8pPFg
