The S3 girls who won this year’s YPI met Glasgow Girl Amal Azzudin yesterday at the national awards ceremony in Perth. Her story resonated with the pupils who heard how she fled Somalia in 2000 to set up a new life in Scotland with her mum and now campaigns for human rights across the world.
