Thank you very much to Paul Smith (Scottish Conservatives), Kirsten Oswald (Scottish National Party) and Councillor Paul O’Kane (Scottish Labour) for an excellent evening of political discussion with over 60 pupils, parents and staff last night. Well done the Advanced Higher Modern Studies class for organising such a successful event, particularly S6 Social Subjects Depute Jonny for being on the panel.

The Advanced Higher Geography pupils arrived safely in Arran this week for their annual field trip. Williamwood were joined with S6 students from Mearns Castle, St Luke’s and Eastwood.

Thanks very much to the campus police officer PC Mitchell for giving a very informative presentation about the role of the police to S3 pupils. Modern Studies students will be able to use this valuable information for their S3 exams.
