S2 News Reports

20160115_150637As part of the S2 Modern Studies course, pupils worked together with the Drama and P.E departments and Anti-Bullying Committee (ABC) to make two news reports – one about Williamwood Sports Day and the other on bullying, with a specific focus on homophobia. The pupils researched their topic; wrote the script; filmed the action and edited the report using skills they had learned during the carousel project.

The anti-bullying video can be viewed here.

The sports day video can be viewed here.

Well done to all of the pupils involved and a special thanks to Miss Harkins (Drama), Miss Foster (P.E) and David Hunter (Moving Images Scotland) for all their help to make this IDL project a success.
