An exciting opportunity has arisen for two apprentice to join the Engineering team based at Great Western Road, Glasgow. This is a great opportunity to re-train, you would gain skills working within the Engineering team, whilst also studying towards an Electrical Engineering SVQ Level 3 qualification.

Apprentice Opportunity

These opportunities are for a full Modern Apprenticeship programme culminating in the attainment of an SVQ level 2 and SVQ level 3 in Electrical Engineering Maintenance, and an NC in Electrical Engineering, with the expectation that candidates continue to HNC level.  Full training will be given both onsite and at our training provider; East Kilbride and District Group Training Association (EKGTA) based in East Kilbride.  On successful completion of the programme, candidates would receive the appropriate certification and become a fully qualified electrical engineer.

Apprentice Criteria

The successful applicant would be expected to hold 4 National 5 Grades at Level C or above, or alternatively 4 Standard Grades at Credit level in Maths, English and a Science subject (preferably Physics).  Intermediate 2 or Higher qualifications would be an advantage.
