On Tuesday 9 October more than 320 young people from across Scotland joined acclaimed violinist Nicola Benedetti to perform at a concert in Dundee. The Super Strings orchestra performance followed workshops with young people held in Glasgow, Aberdeen and Stirling.
Everyone who took part in the sessions were invited to perform with Ms Benedetti at the Caird Hall and two of our own fifth year pupils took part. Congratulation to Andrew Ward (5a3) and Cara MacIsaac (5a3) who both thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the opportunity to perform at the Caird Hall as part of the “Big Noise” experience. As a school we are so proud of their achievements.
