Well done to Freeja Nolan (1a7) who has had a very successful year with her Traditional Music. In the summer holidays this year she was part of a band that won the World Championships that took place in Ireland. From this the band have been asked to play and walk up the red carpet at a Infinitime Music Awards Ceremony taking place in Glasgow this weekend.
As it is the Year of the Young People in Scotland, Freeja and the band have also been invited to play at the Scottish Parliament for a 70th Anniversary celebration for the signing of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights on the Wednesday 12 December.
We wish Freeja every success and look forward to seeing her play in St Ninian’s!
