Excellence – for the 3 pupils in each class who have the highest marks / best performance in assessment and project work / extended writing pieces and the highest standard of jotter work.
Achievement – this is for 3 pupils in each class who may not have achieved the very highest marks but have given their very best at all times over the course of the rotation. They have made an excellent contribution overall to the work of the class. We introduced this classification to try to recognise hard work and achievement and a positive contribution in a slightly wider sense.
