This month we have done lots of interesting things in class. We have been enjoying getting used to being the oldest in school and role models to the younger children. We have spent a lot of time talking about our school values and thinking about how we can live out these values in school. In Literacy, we have been using the dictionary to help us with our spelling words. They have been getting a lot harder so we have been spending more time on them. We also created some persuasive pieces of writing. We had to choose three things we would change about the world. They all turned out so well. Last week, we continued the story of Doctor Frankenstein and The Monster. We used lotsĀ of adjectives to help our reader build a picture of The Monster in their head.

One of the things we have enjoyed most this month is Bikeability.

We spent a morning at Crookfur for our ‘Off-Road’ session. We learned how to check our bike, move away safely and read the road signs. This will help us when

we go on the road next week which we are very excited for.
