SupERkids
SupERkids is a small local charity based in East Renfrewshire who supports children and young people with additional support needs and their families within the local area.
They would like to recruit volunteers aged 16 and over to support services, which include evening and weekend clubs, as well as family fun days during the school holidays. Volunteers play a vital role in helping us provide a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable environment for the children and young people who attend.
This volunteering opportunity would be particularly beneficial for students who are:
Looking to gain experience for their CV or personal statement
Interested in careers such as early learning and childcare, primary teaching, health or social care
Working towards their Duke of Edinburgh Award (we are happy to support this)
Volunteering with us allows young people to gain hands-on experience, develop confidence, teamwork, and communication skills, and make a real difference in their local community.
