Social Care Careers Week 5th- 9th December

From 5th – 9th December, the first Social Care Careers Week will help to support young people’s understanding of social care roles and careers.

Delivered in partnership between SSSC, Developing the Young Workforce (DYW) Live and the National e-Learning Offer, the week is aimed at secondary pupils across Scotland to help them learn more about a career in social care and its wider opportunities.

The week will include daily online sessions, where pupils can hear directly from people working in different roles, to demystify what social care workers do every day and to understand more about what young people can bring to care.
