Some of the boys and girls in Primary 1d worked as a team during ‘choosing time’ to make a boat with building blocks. Carmen and Odhran even made a compass so that they could use it when sailing! Well done!
P1d and P1e have been learning about living and non-living things. We have taken part in experiments to learn about what plants need to grow. We can confidently name the parts of a plant. We have really enjoyed planting our own sunflowers and watching them grow!
P1d have been learning to use scales to measure the mass of objects. They found out that if one pan is lower than the other then that object is heavier than the other one. If both sides of the balance are equal then the objects weigh the same.
