Today, P3b were putting their numeracy skills to the test outdoors.
We have been learning about putting information into carroll diagrams, venn diagrams and charts.
Today, they collected an assortment of outdoor materials, and sorted them into groups. They then put that information into a chart of their choice.
P3b have really been enjoying transferring their numeracy skills to their outdoor learning.

Primary 3b have been really busy recently.
This year, the theme for Scottish Catholic Education week is, ”Serving the Common Good”.
We have been learning about the part we play in making the world a better place. We discussed how we serve the Common Good in our homes, our school and our communities.
In school, we have been trying to show kindness, patience and fairness to everyone. We have been working as a team during PE.
We have been doing team games and trying really hard to apply the skills, we have learned during Catholic Education Week, everyday at school.
P3d had such an enjoyable time working with the Sports Leaders as well as developing skills.
P3d worked very hard during Catholic Education week to learn about ways in which they can become involved in Serving the Common Good. They worked in small groups to identify ways that they can help others.
Primary 3c and 3d enjoyed working with the Sports Leaders in St Ninian’s this afternoon. They worked through a range of athletics stations and participated with great enthusiasm. Have a look at the pictures below.
Primary 3b and 3d had a lovely time last week, celebrating Burns day.
They had a ceilidh and also enjoyed some Scottish shortbread and juice. Well done Primary 3!
P3d worked in small groups in our STEM room to try out different experiments using magnets. As well as developing their understanding of magnets they had lots of fun doing so!
Warbutons visited Primary 3 classes this week.
They learned all about healthy eating and what it means to eat healthy snacks.
They discussed healthy sandwich fillings and even got to make their own sandwich.
They watched a video about the process of making the bread at the Warbutons factory.
At the end, the boys and girls were very lucky to take home a loaf of wholemeal bread to share with their families. I hope you enjoyed them.
