Glasgow Boys – art workshop
P7d learned about the ‘Glasgow Boys’ and enjoyed looking at some of their paintings during their visit to Kelvingrove Art Gallery. Following the tour, they participated in a range of practical art activities to explore these artists’ styles and techniques.
Brushes with war
P7d thoroughly enjoyed their visit to Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum. They had an opportunity to learn more about WW1 through the artwork of soldiers and artefacts.
Coding Microbits
Well done to Mehr, Niamh and Marissa who led the learning during ICT this week. They taught their classmates how to programme a microbit to display a message.
Position and Movement
P7d have been learning about compass points and bearings. They worked together in the playground to practise drawing their compass points and giving directions.
Build a den challenge
P7d demonstrated excellent teamwork, problem solving and creativity during our build a den challenge. They were all so good that Mrs Neil couldn’t pick a winner.
Police Scotland STEM workshop
P7d thoroughly enjoyed their STEM workshop with our campus police officer. They learned about the crime path and how to take statements and gather evidence. We have some budding detectives in our midst!
Safety in the Park
Primary 7 thoroughly enjoyed their experience at Safety in the Park in September. They participated in a range of workshops and real life scenarios to help them recognise risk and learn how to keep themselves safe.
P7d STEM Challenge
At the start of term 1, Morrison Construction came to work with Primary 7. We developed our ability to think like an engineer and learned that triangular structures are the strongest for building.
