Primary 5B took part in a fun game of chao tig to warm up followed by a game of jailers which enabled us to use a variety of skills we have been developing in PE. Ask your child about the skills they’ve been developing!
Thanks

Hello,
When the hall is out of use AND it’s pouring of rain, we have to do PE in class and this can consist of dance, workouts and yoga.
See the pictures of primary 4 taking part in dance and class workouts this afternoon.
We definitely found the workouts tough but great for building our fitness!
Well done P4B 😀

Hello,
P6A have been working on their reaction time and developing how to move around a court in any rebound game. We used better movers and better thinkers to start our warm up followed by a game of chao tig which we have a great time playing!
Well Done 🙂

Hello,
P5A were lucky enough to have an impromptu PE lesson with myself, Mrs Latif. It’s a class I work with but never have the pleasure of teaching them PE so the pupils and I were excited! To celebrate, we decided to get out an old favourite… the parachute! We played a variety of games ensuring we worked well together and included everyone which we did! We all had fun and developed various skills.
Great job 5A!
Thanks
Mrs Latif
Hello,
Primary 6A have been working with active schools coordinator Ryan to develop skills required to become Playzone buddies. Today, P6A have been showcasing the skills they’ve developed and the games they’ve learnt to teach P1B how to play. P6A have been using the NED method to teach P1A. They Name the game, Explain the game and Demonstrate the game. P6A have been displaying important Playzone leader qualities such as leadership and team work.
Well done P6A and thank you P1B for joining us today!

Hello,
Primary 4 were lucky enough to have Mr. Baird & S3’s down to play some games with them today. They had the opportunity to practise their reaction time through various activities.
What a fantastic afternoon in PE!
Well done P4.

Hello,
For the past few weeks Primary 7B have been developing various skills within rebound games. Today, we’ve been working on our response time and movement skills through a variety of activities. We discussed the importance of adapting movement around a court and having to be adaptable around a court and respond quickly to your partners shots.
Some of the children recently had the brilliant opportunity of taking part in a badminton tournament and led our school to 3rd place! Glad our lessons have been paying off. Well done to those involved and everyone else for working hard and building on their skills.
Thanks,
Mrs Latif.
Hello,
Today we took part in a Better Movers Better Thinkers warm up where we had to use our bodies to move around and our minds to focus and concentrate. We then brought out the parachute which the children thoroughly enjoyed! We played a colours game followed by cat and mouse. PE is a great way of building positive relationships and giving the children opportunities to socialise whilst building their fitness levels.
Well done Primary 1! Fantastic job this afternoon.
Mrs Latif
Well done P6B who have been working on becoming Playzone Buddies for Primary 1A with the support of Ryan from Active Schools Coordinator!
