Book Week Scotland

We have been so lucky to take part in lots of activities to celebrate book week Scotland!

We read both books in our Read, Write, Count bag. Then we Ā chose our favourite and wrote a book review about it!

The reading committee gave us lots of fun activities about our books and gave us all our book bags! We are so exited to bring our book bags home today!

Today we learned lots about Anti- bullying week.
Inspired by Ā All Kinds of Friends (one of our Read, Write, Count books) we created a Venn diagram with our shoulder partner to collect data on similarities and differences between ourself and friends.
We also created a friendship cake!

Amazing Research!

The boys and girls have presented their research about animals in the rainforest so well! They tried hard to project their voice. They all were well prepared for their presentation and produced amazing slide shows, posters and models!

I was so impressed! šŸ‘ Thank you everyone for your hard work! āļø

This week have been learningā€¦

We have been learning about the talented Tim Burton. Inspired by his work we created portraits of Jack Skeleton using the visual elements of colour, sale and line. Arnā€™t they wonderful!

Today to celebrate all the work we have done on Georgeā€™s Marvellous Medicine we have a Marvellous Day!

First we created our own recipes for our own marvellous medicines.

Then we undertook a dissolving science experiment. šŸ§Ŗ
