Today we were learning all about different materials and their uses. We then went on a hunt and separated what we found into Natural and Man-Made bundles during some sorting activities.

Reading Buddies
Reading Buddies
Over the past term we’ve been meeting our Reading Buddies twice a week. For both P2 and P7 pupils, this is an opportunity to practise their reading skills such as fluency and expression.
P2 love working with the older pupils and hearing the stories that P7 like reading.
We will continue this over the next term.
Come Learn with me!
Last week we were invited parents in to class to Come Learn with us. We thoroughly enjoyed having our parents in and it’s was great to see pupils talking about their number knowledge with familiar adults.
Loose Parts Play.
We had a great time building and exploring materials with the loose parts. We worked with friends, sharing materials, talking and planning our builds and even compromising.
World Book Day visitor
As part of our World Book Day, we had a visit from Author Alan Windram. We sang songs and listened to his stories. We loved hearing about Benny. There was laughter all afternoon.
