Monday PE

Circuits and Fitness
At PE this week we had circuits with various options of activities. I particularly enjoyed watching the mats and seeing all the amazing things children can do, such a talented class!
Ceilidh Dancing
Week two of Ceilidh dancing and Primary 5 learned how to pas de bas, do a figure of 8 and advance and retire.
Scottish Country Dancing
Primary 5 started their block of Scottish Country Dancing today. The pupils had a great time. We worked on various techniques today including circling round and turning a partner with an elbow grip.
We also counted our steps.
PE Wednesday
Great fun in PE on Wednesday.
One activity was a sophisticated game of noughts and crosses involving team work and strategy. Another involved agility and awareness as the class had to work to catch the cones. This proved challenging as they had to keep aware of the others around them.
