This afternoon during science, the class continued learning about the Sun and the Earth and why our planet spends half its time in darkness and the other half in sunlight. They learnt that it isn’t the sun that moves around Earth, but instead that it is the Earth that moves around the Sun.

We then did an experiment using a torch and a globe to show how the Earth rotates on it’s axis showing night and day.
