We’ve been busy developing our ball skills in PE – we are learning to dribble and to maintain control of the ball and also to throw and catch.

P1 loved making kites this week as part of our Toys topic. We tried flying them this afternoon, but it would be even better on a windier day!

P1 have been very busy over the last few weeks starting to learn lots of single sounds! We love to practice our sounds in a variety of ways, from written tasks, to sensory activities and crafts! Have a look of some of our fabulous work below.

Today P1 were investigating how toys move. We learned about forces and categorised a variety of toys according to whether they were a push or a pull force.

The Puppet Theatre was a big hit today!
