Learning about time – Half Past and O’clock times.

Using analogue clocks we have been showing ‘oclock’ and ‘half past’ times.We’ve also been drawing the hands on clocks to show these times and even making our own clocks.

Mr McKenna takes the class to the ICT suite for digital learning every Wednesday.

We have been working on the maths symbols of Greater than and Less than.

How did we do this ? We made alligators, the greedy alligator always opened its mouth wide to eat the greatest amount. We enjoyed making our alligators. This was a really memorable way to know which way to put the symbol.

     

       

 

We have been making anti litter posters. We looked at the features of a poster. When making our posters, we thought about the letters and pictures we would use to persuade people not to drop litter.

We had a great time being dressed up today.

P2.6 also invited us to a pumpkin hunt in their class.

For our PE this term we’re focussing on gymnastics.

So far we’ve been working on balancing on different body parts and balancing on the bench
