We have been using flat shapes to make 2D shapes and 3D objects.

We have been investigating friction by using cars, ramps and different materials. Some of us made a motor way! It created a lot of excitement. 🚙

We really enjoyed our visit to Waterstones. We learned to sort books by alphabetical order, colour and age. Thanks to our parent volunteers for coming with us! 

Today we were writing about our Christmas break.

Last week, some of us were investigating capacity and volume using rice and water. 💧 🍚

Yesterday, we were learning about graphs. Some of us had to pretend to be the numbers, and others were the data. We took photos and compared the data we recorded and answered questions.

We are using peg boards today to make lovely patterns. 

We are already having lots of fun at the contruction zones.

Lewis wanted to use real screws and screwdrivers and asked what he could use. I gave him one of my spare pumpkins (yes I still have some! 😂)  and a few joined in.  🔨 🔧🔩⛓⚙️

We are also using K-Nex to make models.
