Week 3

We have emailed and sent via Seesaw, a booklet for you to fill in to allow us to get to know you child before starting school.  Feel free to fill these in in the easiest way for your family.

We are asking for these to be completed by Friday 12th June, please.

Week 2 Activities

We have been getting in touch with our new families through email to invite you to the website and app, Seesaw.  Please check your inbox for your login details and help guides.  We have been sharing activities which your child can participate in, if they wish, through Seesaw and we will share these here too.  Seesaw and Twitter are great ways to share photos and videos of your child completing these activities.  It has been lovely to see so many photos and videos already!  We have also been uploading some videos of staff to allow you and your child to get to know friendly faces and names before starting school.

Week 1 Activities

Welcome to Kirkhill Primary School.

Starting Primary 1 can be an exciting time for children and parents alike. We realise that the transition between nursery and primary can be very daunting so want to make it as smooth as possible to help support these transitions.

We know that this year is a bit different to our usual transition process, however, we are striving to ensure you get as much information to answer your thoughts and questions and ensure the best possible start at school for all.

You may have seen recently that as a result of Coronavirus the procedure for placing requests and appeals has been amended and deadline extended from April 30^th to May 31^st. Once this has been processed we hope to have confirmation of our numbers and pupils and will then be in touch towards the end of May with further information about our transitions for next session.
