We have been learning about right angles and made a Right Angled Monster to help us find and make right angles.
We used sticks and elastic bands on the Geoboards.

We have been making some observational drawings of tulips in a vase. You can see more of our drawings on display in the dinner hall.
Chicks
We had a visit from four beautiful chicks today . We were able to hold them and feed them and found out about how long they had been in the eggs before they hatched.

Outdoor Learning in P1a
We have been learning to count in 10’s to 100.
Today we went outside and tried to collect 100Â things such as stones and sticks.
We put them in groups of 10 to help us count up to 100. 
Chinese New Year in P1a
We have been learning about Chinese New Year this week.
We have made fans and dragons and used special calligraphy brushes to paint Chinese letters and make red banners.
