We will shortly be starting some BounceBack lessons that will help us to develop our mental, social and emotional well-being. We used these question bags (pictured below) to discuss what each letter of the BounceBack acronym stands for. The children really enjoyed writing their responses on Post-It notes and adding them to the bags. At the end, each group had to choose the best response to read out to the class.
Here are some of our responses –Â
If you talk to someone you will feel better.
Learn from your mistakes.
Don’t feel afraid to talk to an adult.
Don’t worry over small things, keep things balanced.
You cannot change the past, so think happy thoughts.
Think about how to make it better.
When I fall out, I make up.
Be honest and tell the full story.
Always concentrate on the positive and the good will happen.
Everybody makes mistakes.
We are all good at something.
Say sorry to your friend.
