Homework materials are attached below.
Please note – there will be no outdoor learning this week or next week. We will start this again after the holidays.
Please bring in materials on Friday for your technology challenge – about 3/4 pieces of junk modelling materials each should be enough.
Today we took advantage of the rain to do some raindrop art. We coloured sheets of paper and then spattered water over them to see the colours spread through to the other side. Look at our rocking rainbows!
Yesterday we began reading The Dragon Machine. We realised that there were lots of dragons hiding around the school so we went on a hunt to find them. We had to describe where we found them and what they looked like. Today we used the prepositions, adjectives, alliteration and similes we collected to write sentences about them. Check out our ideas.
Today we were finding out how to keep the heart healthy. We discovered that exercise is a great way to maintain heart health so we did short bursts of exercise and took our pulse rates afterwards. Look at us go!
Today we are practising number sequences by counting in 2s, 3s, 4s, 5s and 10s. Counting in 3s and 4s was really tricky. We timed ourselves to see who could go the highest. Check out some pictures of our work.
