Vision Perform

Primary 7 were extremely lucky to be involved in a drama workshop today by Vision Perform.

We learned about how to gain focus and concentration and how to perform freeze frames and mime.

We hope to use our new skills and expertise to run drama workshops for other classes with the school.

Heartstart

On the 9th of October 2019 the British Heart Foundation came to our class and we completed the Heartstart Emergency Life Saving Programme. We learned what to do if anyone was to fall unconscious, have a cardiac arrest, suffer a heart attack or choke on something. If someone was to fall unconscious  they told us how to put them in the recovery position . if someone was to go in to cardiac arrest they told us how to do CPR. If someone was to choke they told us the manoeuvres to do to help the person.

We really enjoyed the Heartstart Programme and learned lots of techniques that could potentially save someone’s life.
