Good morning! 🙂
I hope you’ve all had a lovely weekend with a rest from work.
Here are your daily plan and tasks for today. As always, they are also on Seesaw.
The Daily Rigour 196 Worksheet
Enjoy! 🙂
Good afternoon 7b 🙂
That is officially week one of home learning finished!
I just wanted to send a little message to say well done again to everyone who has sent in work this week. I know it’s taken a while to get used to how Seesaw works and there have been a few teething problems, but you have all worked through them and tried your best which has made me extremely proud!
I have seen lots of fantastic work – from isolation diaries to social subjects country brochures, decimal multiplication to roller coasters, planes and cars for STEM challenges.
I hope you all have a well deserved rest over the weekend to enjoy time with your families and I will be in touch again next week with your work.
Miss Itcovitz 🙂
Mr Tyler is currently reading a chapter of Happy Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone every day for you to listen to. These are being posted on Seesaw daily but here are the links for chapters 1 to 4.

Apologies for some of the yawns in Chapter 3, it was recorded late at night!
Â
I hope you enjoy these and Chapter 5 will be ready for Monday.
Here is your work for today!
Remember this is all also on Seesaw (including the pictures for the Numeracy and Literacy task).
Have fun! 🙂
Morning!
Here is your daily plan and work for today:
Everything else you need is on Seesaw – all the worksheets and textbook pages. I can’t post them on here because they’ll be too small for you to see properly.
Keep working hard!
🙂
Good afternoon 7b!
We’ve had a really busy couple of days starting our home learning journey. Well done again to everyone who has been working hard at home on the tasks I have set and sent in photos of your work. You have really impressed me!
I especially enjoyed reading your diary entries today talking about your first weekend at home. It sounds like you all had a fantastic first few days with lots of family time and fresh air in your gardens!
Keep up the great work! 🙂
Morning everyone!
Well done to everyone who managed to try some or all of the tasks yesterday and upload to Seesaw. I enjoyed seeing the work and was impressed by the high standards.
A couple of people were asking about jotters – remember if you don’t have your jotter at home you can use paper or write straight on to the Seesaw file instead.
Here is everything you need for today:
Keep up the great work! 🙂
From tomorrow, home learning activities will be assigned via Seesaw and this class blog.
This will consist of a Numeracy and a Literacy task daily. One ‘other’ task e.g. HWB, RME, Social Studies, Expressive Arts, Technology, or Science activity will also be assigned every day.
As well as academic learning I appreciate the importance of daily physical activity. Each day, you might like to take part in Joe Wicks’ live PE lessons. These will be streamed live on his YouTube account every morning from 9-9.30am. However, he will post them on his channel after so you don’t always have to do it at that time.
Please check this blog and Seesaw regularly as we venture on our new home classroom learning experience. We can see how the first week goes and make tweaks as we go along.
I plan to upload the daily program by 9am everyday.
As I may be onsite in our ‘hub’ school, I may not always be able to answer your questions immediately, but I will try my best to get back to you as quickly as possible.
I am already looking forward to welcoming you all back when school resumes. Stay safe and well!
Miss Itcovitz 🙂
