Class Blog- 15th December

Our week in P7A

In maths we were doing two and three digit multiplication and we were also measuring different items.

We were also planning lessons for younger years to teach next week. People have planned art and drama lessons. As it is Christmas season the lessons are Christmas or winter themed.

While Miss Ralston was teaching us we were learning about Spanish and how Christmas is celebrated in Mexico. After that we started to learn science. Miss Ralston taught us how to make a parachute.

In PE we played a capture the flag game and octopus. For Thursdays PE we were out in the playground doing fun basketball activities.

Class Blog- 8th December

Welcome to this week’s blog.

This week we had our final week at Eastwood for P.E with the senior pupils there. It’s been great fun and we’ve all been able to try lots of sports.

On Monday we learnt about Christian beliefs to do with Christmas.

We’ve also been working on our coding skills this week. We followed a tutorial to make a pong game and then some people had a go at using these skills to make a game of their own.

We also worked on making information leaflets or films about the importance of sleep. We used notes we made over the last few weeks to share tips on how to sleep better and why it is important.

It was the present room today. We really enjoyed helping the younger children to pick a present to buy.
