This week it is anti bullying week. We did lots of activities such as watching the BBC live lessons. The theme is make a noise about bullying and we also watched a video about bullying and had to fill out a sheet saying if it is  bullying or hate crime.

We also did the final apprentice challenge which is our current topic. With our groups we made our own product and advertised it to Mrs Rasul, the p7c teacher. Some of our products were a plant that waters itself and gum that never runs out of flavour.

For the past couple of weeks in writing we have been making our own settings and characters. This week we made our own stories. We used STEAL and character descriptions.

Hello and happy Friday!!!

This week we did Heartstart.

In Heartstart we watched videos and practiced on mannequins. We learnt how to save lives for example, if someone is choking, having a heart attack, has a serious bleed, if someone is unconscious or if they have a cardiac arrest. Angela from Heartstart came in to teach us.

On Friday we did some photography. We got Lego figures and put them in different places to make cool photos. Back in class we made iMovie trailers using our photos.

In Literacy we looked at STEAL. It stands for speech, thoughts, effect on others, actions and looks. We picked what book we wanted to read and did a STEAL character analysis.

In P.E we went to Eastwood and got separated into groups and did different sports.

For dyslexia awareness week we talked about how we are all different and how we all have different fingerprints. We did our fingerprints with ink and paper and talked about what we’re good at.
