We had an amazing time in P6C researching how Eid is celebrated by muslims around the world. This information was then used to create an information posters that we shared at our special assembly. As well as this, we loved making Eid shortbread biscuits and having Henna designs drawn on our hands. Take a look at all of the fun learning activities we took part in.
Researching and making our collaborative posters.
We used Kapla pieces to make tessellating and symmetrical patterns based on our learning of Islamic art.
Making shortbread biscuits with a choice of Eid-themed toppings was a lot of fun and hard work following the recipe correctly, measuring ingredients and making sure we used and cleaned our cooking tools and utensils properly too.
Everyone was thrilled to have their own unique henna design painted onto their hands!
