Welcome back to the P6b blog! We hope you enjoy reading about what we have be exploring with Mr Atkinson in his Learning Journeys.

We have just recently started our new Learning Journey, Adapting to Climate Change. P6B has been learning about how animals communicate and we revisited different types of measurements in order to understand distances. We started off with converting and then the pupils were challenged to solve calculations involving measurements. This then led to the pupils drawing distances to scale which led to discussions about how far animals can communicate. The class also created information posters on Adobe Express about an animal and recorded key details about what they need to thrive and the climate they can survive in.
