‘Hi, welcome to this week’s blog starring P6a, this week was science week!’ Bruce
‘On Monday we were doing try outs for the Rouken Glen cross country competition. This was tough but really fun.’ Euan
‘I was one of the people who got chosen for the team, James, Harry and Sam were also chosen. I look forward to competing.’ Luca Fi
‘On Tuesday during outdoor learning we collected half a beaker full of soil in groups, then on Friday we completed an experiment. We were trying to find out about the different layers of soil and finding out if they were good quality or not. I enjoyed this!’ Molly
‘As part of science week we watched a live lesson about farming machinery with a focus on precise weeding. We got to try this out ourselves with corn and peas. We had the choice of different tools such as a spoon or tweezers, we had to pick as many peas as possible in 20 seconds. This was really fun.’ Eleanor
‘I found this activity harder when we could only pick up one pea at a time, it also got harder when we introduced quality control.’ Molly
‘During maths with Mrs Lamont we made graphs about height and age, on my graph I found the taller the person the older they were.’ Euan
‘On Thursday some of us worked with Mrs Nasar, we read an instructions text on how to set a timer on a mobile phone. I really liked this.’ Lexi
‘This week in music with Mrs Hutchison we were practicing how to draw a treble clef and also how to draw notes on the stave. I really enjoyed this.’ Jess
‘Today in our lesson for our Blue Planet topic we will be having a picnic as it is unfortunately Miss Bruce’s last day with us. We are happy she is going to teach her own class now!’ Ayyan
‘In PE we were starting a new topic, which was racket sports. Today we focused on badminton which I really enjoyed.’ Luca Fi
‘Today we finished reading our class novel ‘Chill’, it was a scary book which kept us on the edge of our seats…the ending helped everything make sense.’ Lauren
‘We hope you have enjoyed our blog, see you again next week, bye!’ Dylan
