P6a week beginning 28th February

‘Hello and welcome to another blog with P6a.  Read on and find out what we got up to.’  Bruce

‘This week we got accepted into the John Muir award, I am excited to take part in this.  We went outside and completed 1000 steps and also did some observations.’ James

‘In outdoor learning we looked for insects in their habitats, this is a picture of me and Lauren being explorers.’ Jess

‘On Thursday for World Book Day we completed a quiz guessing the names of characters, the name of books and authors.  We had a picnic, we enjoyed some crisps and chocolate.  We also got to see a live author talking, we then watched some Matilda.’ Bella

‘I enjoyed doing the quiz… I also won it! World Book Day was fun.’ Eleanor

‘This week in writing we had to persuade someone to buy an item or visit a place.  I got a restaurant deal, I found it very tricky.’ Harry

‘This week in PE we were practicing for our routine, which is next week.  We have to include starting positions, an inversion and travelling.  I really enjoyed it.’ Luca Fr

‘I enjoyed doing our Fairtrade lesson,  we learnt about how chocolate is made.  I learnt how important Fairtrade is.’ Hashim

‘In my opinion me and Beth’s poster is really awesome mostly because we created the coolest rap ever.’ Lauren

‘For health and wellbeing this week we continued to work on our Fairtrade posters.  Bruce and I made sure there were lots of pictures and subheadings, our theme was blue and green because that is the colours of the Fairtrade logo.’ Ayyan

‘Today we had the first in person assembly in 2 years, it was nice to see everyone together again.  I got a certificate for contributing in reciprocal reading.’ Euan

‘Thank you for reading our blog.  I hope you enjoy your weekend.’ Molly
