‘I found lots of ants but couldn’t see any dandelions.’ Tia

‘This week in drama with Mrs Hutchison, we were doing more improvisation. We were in small groups and had to either act like Jack (and persuade his friend about the beanstalk) or his friend. Another scene was acting as Jack and explaining to your mum what had just happened.’ Jess

‘Today with Mrs Hutchison, my art group, were drawing flowers that we saw and coloured them in to make them look realistic.’ Isla

‘For the girls’ race, I came 56th out of about 160! This was quite fun! The other girls did very well.’ Eleanor

‘This morning the JRSOs came in to tell us about Sustran’s walk and wheel. It’s a competition in which you compete against other schools and if you get more than 15% of your school walking each day for 2 weeks, you get a prize.’ Ayyan

‘On Monday, we were working in our reciprocal reading groups and read a non-fiction text about turtles. Together we clarified tricky words form the text, created 3 questions and a short summary.’ Molly

‘One of my inventions was called Big Foot! It has wheels, a propeller and an umbrella to prevent rust. It can fly and plants cabbage seeds.’ Luca Fr

‘As part of science week we watched a live lesson about farming machinery with a focus on precise weeding.  We got to try this out ourselves with corn and peas.  We had the choice of different tools such as a spoon or tweezers, we had to pick as many peas as possible in 20 seconds.  This was really fun.’ Eleanor
