Keith Haring Inspired Art

We worked as a team to create our own Keith Haring inspired mural.  We used our water colour painting skills and cartoon art skills to create our hearts and four girls collaboratively arranged the hearts into our mural.

Science – Dissolving

Last week we carried out an experiment to see which  substances dissolved in water.

PE

We have been learning how to pass and stop the ball the hockey as well as shoot at a goal.  We have also been learning about attacking and defending as part of a team.

In Badminton we can now serve over the net and maintain a short rally.

Design Technology

We worked in groups to design an art gallery that meets a design brief inspired by the range of artists we have research over the last four weeks.  We used ‘Make Do’ kits to construct our models.

Science – Electricity

This week we have investigated how to make a complete circuit to make a light bulb light up.  We then investigated which materials were conductors and insulators within our circuit.  We learnt that water is a very good conductor of electricity and the dangers of water around electricity.
