Hi everyone, keep reading to find out more about our highlight of the week!

This week, we have been learning about and programming Spheros. If you don’t know what they are, they are a controllable robotic ball which can move about when you give them commands.

We used an app on the iPads,  which controlled the Spheros and our first challenge was to make a square with them and then we played a game. To control them, you select a block and this connects to the Sphero and then press start to move it. The Sphero could do 90, 180 and 270 degree turns. You could also change the speed of the Sphero!

“I liked that we also played a game with them. You had to guess an animal and then you threw the Sphero and it made an animal noise!” Oscar
