Hello and welcome to our blog.
We have enjoyed a busy week in P3a. Here are some of the things we would like to share with you –
In Literacy we have been working hard to develop our comprehension skills by finding information from a text.
“I enjoyed the questions and having to look for the answers on the poster.” (Ruaridh)
“I completed all the questions correctly.”(Talhah)
In writing we watch a moving image called The Unexpected Guest and wrote a detailed recount. We drew pictures to match our recount.
“I liked writing about this because the video we watched gave me lots of information to write about.” (Ryan)
“I really enjoyed turning my recount into a comic strip and drawing the pictures to match my story”. (Hugo)
“I enjoyed my writing this week – it was fun!” (Eva)
In Maths we continue to work hard on our number knowledge, some of us were even learning to give change.
“I can use subtraction to give change”. (Carson)
“I have worked really hard on subtraction this week”. (Christopher)
In Art we designed a Christmas Tree based on the colour wheel. The results were very effective. We used contrasting warm and cold colours.
“I liked learning about the colour wheel and drawing my tree”.(Penelope)
“I liked using the hot and cold colours to draw my tree”( Oscar)
“I liked using the warm colours for my background colours and my cold colours for the tree. It made the colours pop”. (Olivia Y)
We are looking forward to our learning next week.
Thank you for reading our blog.
Have a wonderful weekend.
