P2C 2021/22

In mathematics we have been busy learning about the value of numbers as tens and units and have had lots of fun making these numbers using materials.

We have been working hard on developing our balance, direction and movement in P.E. Thinking about ‘take-off’ and ‘landing’ positions and how we can travel in interesting ways in between.

We have loved investigating the changing season in our school grounds and building our own animal habitats.

We have been busy tidying up our new P2 outdoor learning space and have collaborated in creating designs to improve it.

We have also been focusing on our mental maths, addition and subtraction and seasons of the year.

The children are thrilled to be back and have been busy exploring their new classroom. They have really enjoyed catching up with their classmates and exploring their new environment and playground together.

We have also made a super start to P2 Literacy and Numeracy.
