The children have been learning more about what friendships means  and have shared lots of ways to be a good friend. We decided to make friendships bracelets to remind us to always be kind to each other.

We have continued to develop our understanding of 2D shapes by discussing the number of sides and corners they have and became detectives for the afternoon to see how many we could find outside.

Through music, we have been singing songs and rhymes to learn each others names better and develop our understanding of fast and slow, loud and quiet. We used the instruments in the garden to add some dance moves and a beat.

Welcome to the first blog post of Primary 1.

We have had the best start to the year getting to know each other, making new friends and exploring our classroom through play. There are already so many fantastic photos to choose from, but here is a little snapshot of some of the amazing learning that has been taking place.
